Valentines Day has always been one of my favourite holidays. Not necessarily because of it's traditional meaning, even though it is quite lovely, but mainly because I love everything that comes out in the shops at this time of year! Red and pink is my favourite colour combination, I love hearts, I love cheesy cards and any excuse to go out for dinner. Or eat an entire share-size chocolate bar... I've never done that before. Honestly.

I don't wear heels often, so when I do, I like to make it really worth it. And how beautiful are these Mary Janes! I find wearing heels very uncomfortable so I kept the rest of the outfit unrestrictive. I found this striped jumper in Subdued when I was in Amsterdam (I call it my Where's Wally jumper) and it's so soft and lightweight but still keeps me warm.
I love to wear my Topshop mom jeans whenever I can. They fit well in all the right places, give a cool and relaxed look and hide a multitude of sins when you don't feel like squeezing into skinny jeans. I never like to dress up too much so this keeps it comfortably casual for me. I've finished off the look with my favourite ASOS clutch - it's made from a gorgeous thick pink leather. I love the way it compliments the red in my jumper.
